Who’s Marguerite?
Marguerite Stimpson is an NYC based actor originally from Port Huron, Michigan.
Marguerite has appeared in the Broadway and West End productions of The Elephant Man, starring Bradley Cooper, as well as the Broadway production of Butley. Other favorite theater roles include Marina in Mary Zimmerman’s acclaimed production of Pericles at the Goodman and at the Shakespeare Theater, as well as the North American premiere of Will Eno’s “Tragedy: a Tragedy” at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. You can also catch Marguerite on such television shows as FBI: International and Blue Bloods. Marguerite received her MFA from the Institute for Advanced Theater Training A.R.T./ MXAT at Harvard University.
Although Marguerite has worked in a variety of mediums, a throughline for her is a passion for great writing and collaboration, as well as a commitment to telling stories that promote empathy and understanding.
Outside of acting, Marguerite is a devoted dog owner, and loves to spend time in Central Park with her husband and their rescue pup. She also loves to travel and is a voracious reader, and her prized possessions are her passport and her New York Public Library card.
